Anticipation for this game is going to be staggering following the trailer. And sadly, we have a year to wait yet. But here are some quick thoughts on the trailer after its debut:
- The environments look stunning. As this game isn’t coming to PC at launch, we’re curious what hardware this trailer is running on.
- Red Dead Redemption took place as the Wild West was dying. As we see 7 potential protagonists, and given the settings, we have to imagine this is the prequel as rumored which will tell the story of John Marsten’s gang.
- Not directly relating to the video, but we hope that Rockstar will take full advantage of the PS4 Pro and Xbox Scorpio. Large scale open world games can see a lot of benefit in this area.
